Please remember that participation in the Southwest Kiln Conference is not simply to get your pots fired. We are a community of amateur and professional experimental archeologists, and ancient southwestern culture enthusiasts, working to further the understanding of ancestral Puebloan pottery by endeavoring to produce pieces in the most authentic manner possible. The conference is a yearly gathering to share and build on our collective knowledge and keep this understanding alive and growing, as well as to expand our community of appreciators of ancient southwest art forms.
